Lately I have noticed a flickering of the EV indicator on my phone. Up to this point I thought my phone was just seeing Alltel's EVDO network, until this morning.
This morning my phone was locked on the EVDO with "Verizon Wireless" on my display. I had a brief moment to try the Internet, but couldn't verify it was any faster. I was about 6 miles North of Sioux Falls at the time. Once I got to work, the EV indicator changed to 1X
This gives me hope that we will have EVDO in Sioux Falls very soon.

Alltel: EVDO
Sprint: 1X
